The Commis Chef Role

Our kitchen team has a taste for developing the flavours to cook up a storm and strives to deliver an experience that is beyond expectation - creating memorable moments for our guests.

• Our Commis Chefs crave the taste of success and can handle the heat in any kitchen!
• Cooking is the spice of your life and you will assist our chefs in preparing elements of our culinary delights
• As an integral part of the team, you will work proactively to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth running of the kitchen department

Qualities We Are Looking For In Our Commis Chef

• Flexibility and a positive, Yes I Can! Attitude
• An eye for detail
• Is a creative problem-solver
• Passionate about creating extraordinary service
• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Experience in a similar position is beneficial but not essential

OTIUM Restaurant & Lounge lets our guests refuel with delectable seasonal dishes made from fresh ingredients and offers a wide choice of wines and specialty beers. To maintain their workout routine, our guests can visit our on-site fitness center and our stylish event space houses 19 well-equipped meeting rooms, including the Noord-Holland Ballroom, which makes an admirable venue for conferences or receptions of up to 435 guests.
