Job Role Definition:
Supervise and verify the quality control of site works to ensure conformity with all contract documents for the project, SSH policies and procedures, and industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, monitor and report on the delivery of SSH's Scope of Services under SSH's Contract.
Project reporting to the RE on a regular basis, including project delivery performance, risks, changes, project resources and ensuring all project KPIs are met.
Support delivery of SSH Scope of Services following best practice project management principles.
Check and review Contractor's shop drawings for all structural works.
Implement contract documents requirements on site.
Review and recommend completed progress percentages of all discipline activities to the client/CM for Contractor's Monthly Payment Applications.
Review contractor's method of statements and comment as necessary.
Inspect materials delivered to the project site for compliance with approved materials data/samples.
Ensure testing of materials is carried out in accordance with the project specifications and relevant codes/standards.
Reject and ensure removal and replacement of non-compliant materials.
Check quality of works to ensure compliance with the contract specification requirements.
Carry out regular periodic inspections at the site to ensure standards are being maintained.
Preparation of snagging lists.
Conduct testing and commissioning process in accordance with the project specifications and relevant codes/standards.
Assist in preparation and issue of Taking Over and Final Completion Certificates for the building works.
Qualifications and Skills:
Significant Post-Contract Supervision Consultancy and extensive Engineering experience.
Experience and acumen in managing and working effectively across multi-disciplinary teams and multi-divisional teams.
Significant knowledge and appreciation of industry best practices, SSH's Policies, Procedures, Manuals, Guidelines, Systems and Applications.
Significant knowledge and appreciation of International and Statutory Authority requirements, codes and procedures.
Good people skills, team management acumen and stakeholder management ability.
Significant command of the English language (written and spoken).
