Responsible for the in country-controlled drug supply chain from importation to delivery to Jazz customers via supply chain partners. Working with International Supply Chain team on planning and logistics. Managing in country supply chain partners to ensure patient supply.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including product supply planning, logistics, and delivery.
Collaborate with international teams to optimize global supply chain operations.
Ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and quality control.
Experience of SAP management.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, wholesalers and customers including contracting, sourcing, and relationship management.
Monitor inventory levels and manage demand forecasting.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Knowledge of handling and storing narcotic products in accordance with legal requirements.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Cooperate with authorized dealers to closely monitor market distribution prices.
Market management in the event of a recall or other unforeseen circumstances.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field.
Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a global context.
Proven experience in supply chain management in Japan
Preferable if experience in management of controlled drugs/ narcotics.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Familiarity with supply chain software and tools.
Fluency in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
Ability to work with the local commercial affiliate to maximize the assets.
Experience of creating and negotiating contracts with in-country providers
