Maintenance Fitter

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €43,000 - €50,000 DOE + up to 5% performance-related bonus
Overtime Details: This position provides overtime and involves being on-call overnight:

Standard Rate: €33.41/h
After 12 midnight: €44.56/h
Sundays and Bank Holidays: €44.56/hPlease Note: Must drive due to overnight work.

Syntech Recruitment is partnering with our client, a large-scale industrial facility known for its essential infrastructure services, operational excellence, and dedication to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Mechanical Team and supervise contractors for maintenance, repairs, and installations.
Conduct preventive maintenance on critical equipment to ensure operational reliability.
Maintain a clean and well-organised engineering workspace.
Drive and implement continuous improvement projects for equipment and processes.
Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root cause analyses, and propose repair solutions.
Record maintenance activities and review using MAXIMO (site CMMS).
Minimise equipment downtime with effective problem-solving and technical expertise.
Support the engineering and operations teams in identifying and implementing process improvements
Skills & Qualifications

M.A.M.F Craft Certificate (Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting) or equivalent qualification (SOLAS certification preferred).
Strong mechanical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Familiarity with control systems and PLCs.
Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated and technically adept with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale facility settings is advantageous.
