Maintenance Engineer

shift work 4 on 4 off - this role is salary paid + bonus + shift allowance

My client is a global business specialising in a multitude of different equiptment helping keeping the world a safer place.

They are looking for a Maintenance engineer who is looking to develop their career and progress into a Field Service Role

This Maintenance Engineer, offers a wide perspective of all market arenas at Dublin Airport, alternative travel is required within this business to other UK Airports when required, so a willingness to travel occasionally and encompass non-standard hours during trips is required

Responsibilities :

Working within the airport on different system and machines
Dealing with Electronic and Mechanical jobs
Works with development, testing and documentation teams during the product development cycle to ensure quality & serviceability and otherwise represents service needs.
Assesses product/equipment performance based on field support data; recommends modifications or improvements
Takes the lead for large installations and projects and ensures that they are carried out to customer satisfaction.

(Please note: Due to this role being within the airport and working on critical equipment this role requires someone who is able to stay and get a job finished no matter how long it takes (overtime will be paid.)

Essential Requirements :

Recognised National Electrical/Electronics Based qualification.
Some experience in a similar role or looking to progress into a role from an apprenticeship
Full valid driving licence
