External Sales Representative (Construction Industry) Dublin and Leinster (ideally living in Dublin) Overview You will be responsible for increasing sales within your area while also expanding your customer base.
In addition to hitting targets, a Sales Representative is also responsible for representing the image of the company, providing excellent customer service and identifying areas for business development.
Responsibilities You will be representing the company by phone and face to face to gain orders for all company products and services.
Maintain company CRM at all times for all existing and potential customers.
To be fully competent in product literature, sales aids, pricing lists to optimise business opportunities.
All price quotations or commitments entered into are confirmed by letter or written confirmation.
Advise the Branch Manager for marketing information, including competitors activities and pricing by means of weekly reports and sales meetings.
Maximise time spent in the field by creating a strategy Maintain a professional image at all times through, appearance and conduct.
All customer enquires must be dealt with effectively and in a timely manner Carry out projects ad hoc.
You will be expected to achieve budgeted turnover and targets within agreed Company pricing.
Qualifications and skills At least 5 years proven sales experience in construction or a similar industry Able to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs Excellent communication skills Proficient IT skills including MS Driving Licence (clean preferred) Ability to negotiate Using your own initiative Effectively plan and execute If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, we would love to hear from you, if however, you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.
