As the successful candidate, you will be reporting to the Director, working on a variety of projects including commercial, education, sport and leisure, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, mixed use and residential.
Job Summary
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for acting as a Project Lead on a selection of projects and acting as a Leader of the Mechanical section of the project team, including responsibility for the design, design quality, performance, work processes and resourcing management of the Project Team.
You will be responsible for managing a selection of client accounts and carrying out business development activities for the business.
You will be assisting the Project Director in advising on the resourcing and performance of the group, setting mid-term goals, organising weekly team meetings and seeking ways of improving the efficiency and productivity of the team.
You will have the ability to promote the business with a can-do attitude ensuring this is instilled in every project and imparted by all within the design team.
Technical Ability
You will be fully conversant with current building regulations, CIBSE documentation, British standards, BISREA documentation and all other general design guides associated with the building services industry.
It is essential that you are IT literate, with a working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD & Hevacomp.
You will be registered as a minimum Member of CIBSE or be working towards accreditation.
A minimum of 6-7 years of experience of Mechanical Building Services design would be desired to be suitable for the role.
This would generally ensure sufficient exposure to all technical aspects of the role and understanding of the industry.
