Full time, working Monday - Friday 9am-5pm with occasional Saturday mornings (paid as overtime) Are you passionate about travel and driven by delivering exceptional customer experiences? If so, my client would want you to join their dynamic team as a Travel Consultant.
About the RoleAs a Travel Consultant, you will play a vital role in creating unforgettable travel experiences for their clients while driving company revenue.
You'll use your expertise and consultative approach to help clients select their dream holidays to worldwide destinations.
Alongside providing excellent customer service, you'll convert enquiries into bookings, upsell additional services and manage administrative tasks related to travel arrangements.
Key ResponsibilitiesUse your travel knowledge to guide customers in selecting the perfect holidayAchieve monthly sales targets through outstanding selling skills and proactive lead follow-upBuild and nurture long-term customer relationships, creating a personal client baseDeliver prompt and efficient responses to enquiries via web/live chat and outbound callsHandle booking administration tasks, including arranging flights and maintaining accurate recordsShare product knowledge with clients and collaborate closely with Tour Leaders and stakeholdersRepresent the company at overseas educational trips, UK-based trips and trade showsProvide regular updates to clients on outstanding queries and ensure their satisfaction Skills and Experience:
Proven sales experience or customer service experience, ideally within the travel industryStrong customer service skills with a passion for exceeding client expectationsProfessional and pleasant telephone mannerSound geographical knowledge and enthusiasm for travelAbility to adopt a consultative, empathetic approach to client needsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyFlexible and adaptable multitasker, capable of working under pressureKnowledge of GDS (Amadeus) is a plus but not essential - training can be provided Core Values:
