The Role:
You will be responsible for liaising with the programme/project delivery teams and preparing the business for the transition to new ways of working by assisting in creating and implementation of change management strategies.
Your role will involve engagement with senior management across the business and an in-depth involvement with operational teams, leading by example and championing change.You will need the ability to lead, support, coach and empower others to deliver in a multifaceted area of work.Responsibilities:
Delivery - Create and lead the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraintsProject Management - Day to day management and leadership of the project and the project team.
Set project controls.
Design the project structure appropriate to stage.
Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologiesBusiness Case - Coordinate development of the Business CaseBudget - Track delivery within budgetResources - Schedule / manage resources to deliver the project.
May work independently or with a small teamBenefits Realisation - Ensure benefits are identified, understood, measured, tracked and owned.
Ensure appropriate Benefits Realisation Strategy is in place, and monitor longer term delivery of benefits against the Business CaseStakeholder Management - Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationshipsRisks & Issues - Identify and monitor project risks and issues.
Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriateGovernance - Provide key reports and support effective governance and decision makingAssurance - Support or set appropriate project assuranceChange Management - Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholdersGuidance & Support - Seek appropriate support, guidance and coaching from the project community.

Experience of delivery in a complex and fast paced project or programme, including successfully applying project methodologies.

You can provide strong and effective leadership and communicate confidently orally and in writing, giving direction whilst making balanced judgements around when to escalate.You can build support networks quickly, proactively creating and maintain positive, professional and trusting working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders within and outside the organisation.
