We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Administrator to join our team within Vistry North Central Midlands, at our Stafford office. As our Commercial Administrator, you will ensure the smooth running of the Commercial Department, and ensure it operates accurately and efficiently in accordance with agreed timetables, whilst assisting with the team providing admin support as and when required.
We are pleased to say, this role could accommodate agile working arrangements in accordance with Vistry's Agile Working Policy and subject to business need.

Experience working in a commercial business environment
Good understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook

BTEC diploma or certificate in administration / finance
Experience working for a residential house builder ideally within a payment processing environment
Basic understanding in using COINS housebuilding softwareMore about the Commercial Administrator role…
Generating self-billing payment certificates in COINS and checking for accuracy against the Quantity Surveyor valuation.
Processing / administering contra-charges in COINS approved by the Quantity Surveyor.
Creating Draft Payment Certificates in COINS for pre-authorised variations.
Electronic filing of Subcontract Invoices and Applications in relevant Quantity Surveyor payment folders.
General administration tasks related to the commercial function as noted by the department heads.
Telephone communication with site staff, suppliers, subcontractors and other departments.
Dealing with general enquiries from other departments within the business.
Maintenance of electronic filing systems and archiving when necessary.
Sort and process incoming and outgoing post to include date stamping in line with HMRC requirements.
Taking and typing up minutes in various meetings.
