Just let us know your preferred working pattern on your application.Let us introduce the roleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Electronic Engineer.This role is ideally suited to an experienced Engineer looking to apply their Electrical/Electronic skills to challenging system integration, safety, security, or nuclear projects.In growing our capability, we will also be growing your skills and knowledge as an Engineer with opportunities for development and progression across our programmes of work.Who are we looking for?We do need you to have some of the following:
HNC/HND or degree qualification in a science or engineering discipline or proven experience working in a similar environmentAbility to integrate and work well in a team and support or take the technical lead in projectsDegree qualification or NVQ Level 5 or Experience in a science or engineering disciplineProven track record of driving technical delivery, performance and continuous improvement with a consideration for quality, time, and costProven experience in planning, organising and balancing priorities to deliver multiple objectives concurrentlyStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and exceptional people management skills to drive teams with discovering and sharing key information whilst developing othersExperience in Leading Design, Integration and Testing of Electronic/Electrical systemsWhilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
Delivering engineering solutions that meet safety and performance requirements, across AWE programmes and the full engineering lifecycle to a high standardPlanning and executing tasks in order to deliver agreed objectives to time; requirements, quality and costIdentifying and supporting opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and business improvementEffective stakeholder management, engaging others having a positive impact driving decisions and programme deliveryLeading, coaching and developing people into multidisciplinary teams meeting delivery objectives, acting additionally as a Task ManagerMaintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and qualityPresenting results and information to internal and external stakeholdersSome reasons we think you'll love it here:
