What You’ll Do

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring maximum value and efficiency while building strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting regular site visits and liaising with production teams.
• Preparing and reviewing tenders, offering value-engineered solutions.
• Providing cost advice, managing variations, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Overseeing project finances, including forecasting and debt risk analysis.
• Collaborating with procurement, finance, and safety teams to drive success.
• Allocating work to subcontractors and assisting in procurement when needed.
• Ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are met at every stage.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll need:
• Educational Qualifications:
• Minimum GCSEs (7 A-C / 5-9, including Maths and English).
• 3 A-Levels (Grade B or above) or equivalent BTEC.
• HNC Level 4 Qualification in Construction/Building or equivalent.
• Professional Experience: Relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse information and solve problems effectively.
