About the Role
The role is a community-based worker who forms part of Haringey’s Maya Angelou Family Group Conference Service and works as part of a team of practitioners, co-ordinating and facilitating Family Group Conferences (FGC) across the London Borough of Haringey.
Supporting family members to identify solutions to the concerns as highlighted by professionals and develop a Family Action Plan to address these concerns.

About You
Relevant professional qualification in Social Care, Health or Education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 4 or HNC, HND or Bachelor’s Degree.
FGC accreditation.
Experience of working directly with children and their families to promote their welfare
Experience of dealing with child protection issues.
Experience at helping parents and the extended family state the viewpoints and opinions whilst receiving professional support.
The ability to communicate and engage effectively with clients to ensure their understanding of the Family Group Conference Service.
The capacity to remain impartial throughout the Family Group Conference process
