ROLE SUMMARY
Positive Luxury is seeking a Client Success Executive who will play a key role in developing strong, trusted relationships with existing and future clients and supporting the workload of the Client Success Manager and Lab 1, working in close partnership. Our ideal candidate has experience working full-time in the sustainability field, with expertise in account management, business development or project management & consultancy.
A focus of the role is leading client management engagements through our ESG+ assessment and working closely with the Client Success Manger leading your Lab to deliver world class client services and build long-term client relationships.
The other key element of the role will be to build a pipeline of prospects interested in Positive Luxury, supporting the client acquisition process, and securing new clients to join the Positive Luxury community through proactive business development.
The candidate will ideally have experience dealing with challenging clients and supporting the processing of new client acquisition. The successful candidate must be able to show demonstrable experience in sustainability and ESG and a passion for the luxury sector, particularly the Fashion or Interiors industries. Finally, they should show they have the initiative to drive positive change to add value to our business and our community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Proactively contribute towards team & personal targets and work towards Positive Luxury's revenue targets and other KPIs
• Manage a portfolio of clients, supporting the onboarding into the ESG+ assessment platform, providing advice and best sustainability practices to improve clients' sustainability performance throughout their journey, and ensuring we optimise the value provided to clients to drive retention and advocacy and maximise a client's return on investment. Promote continuous improvement and seek ways in which your clients can leverage their sustainability efforts to generate value for their business
• Provide support to the Client Success Manager in the day-to-day management of clients within the Fashion and Interiors Lab
• Develop a rich understanding of the Fashion and Interiors sectors and contribute ideas to build a pipeline of prospects to grow the Lab's client base and collective positive impact
• Confidently participate in and lead discovery and pitch meetings with new prospects via virtual or face to face meetings, and ensure you effectively manage your pipeline to maximise opportunities
• Build relationships across our network of brands, suppliers, and retailers, as well as our Impact Network and other supporters of Positive Luxury
• Support asset and information gathering during the discovery phase of a new client relationship, and ensure key internal documents & systems are accurate, up-to-date, and organised
• In partnership with the Marketing team, liaise with your clients to attain content as part of onboarding and promotion on Positive Luxury's website and other media channels
• Encourage clients to credibly promote their partnership with Positive Luxury, Butterfly Mark certification (where applicable) and sustainability efforts across their owned channels in order to build consumer trust and competitive advantage
• Be a custodian of our CRM system, HubSpot, ensuring clients' information are clearly defined and up to date
• Contribute to the Lab's wide array of organisation tasks such as diary management and client content requests, and support the professional development of the Client Success Officer
• Support the organisation of annual events such as the Positive Luxury Awards and Community Programme
• In line with Positive Luxury's values, be a proactive, helpful, energetic and a positive ambassador for the business
KEY ATTRIBUTES
• 2+ years of successful full-time work within sustainability
• Ideally holds a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (Sustainability, Client Studies, Supply Chain Management, Human Rights, etc)
• Able to demonstrate the necessary depth of technical knowledge to credibly advise clients and a strong appetite to learn through experience
• A track record of success in account management, business development or project management & consultancy
• Strong verbal and written communications skills in English, able to present yourself and the company credibly to prospects and clients
• Performance-driven mindset, motivated by commercial success and positive impact
• Detail oriented with an energetic, highly motivated attitude
• Experience prioritising work to meet deadlines and budgets, managing several projects simultaneously and staying calm under pressure
• Sales experience as part of a team acquiring new clients desirable
• Experience with contract negotiations and renewals desirable
• Highly collaborative, yet confident working independently
• Passionate about sustainability and the business case for it
• Highly engaged in sustainability as a career choice and proactive in keeping up to date with ESG topics outside of work
COMPENSATION & CULTURE
- Base salary £32K - £36K depending on experience and track record. OTE £40K - £50K
