Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a dedicated team of CNC machinists, guiding them to achieve excellence and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
Innovation and Efficiency:
Be at the forefront of implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance machining processes, efficiency, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the CNC machining department, ensuring production targets are met while upholding quality and safety standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of CNC machinists, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance their performance.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule jobs, manage workflow, and optimise machine utilisation.
• Ensure regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment, coordinating repairs as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Any technical certification in machining or related field preferred but not essential - 5 years of experience in CNC machining of either METALLICS or COMPOSITES - At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proficiency in CNC programming (e.g., G-code, M-code) - Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
• Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
