This is a Hybrid role which will involve part office/home based working.

What the day will look like:
Identifying innovation trends and business opportunities within the market.
Scaling innovation in three key areas:
Core - Single-solution line offerings that deliver differentiated valueCore - Integrated value propositions and solutions that combine core capabilities in new ways across solution lines to address unmet client needsNet New - Growth-stage innovations that create new markets and expand access for the underservedSolution line collaboration by challenging the status quo and driving innovation to help clients make better decisions.
Meeting and engaging with internal and external stakeholders at different levels to identify areas of innovation and growth.
Creating and supervising a comprehensive long-term innovation strategy.
Advising F&PS leadership on yearly, medium-term, long-term, and future innovation goals.
Communicating new insights and approaches to high-level stakeholders.
Developing relationships with the global and UK innovation groups to enhance and complement identified growth accelerators and report on innovative developments within the company.
Understanding the DAU (Delivering Aon United) agenda and supporting it actively in driving innovation to meet client needs in specialty lines of business.
Supporting Commercial UK Core and Net New innovation initiatives.
Bringing to life the Aon Story through innovation.
Ensuring all FCA regulations and internal compliance requirements are adhered to in a timely manner.
Promoting all compliance related requirements throughout the area and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Leading by example by ensuring own activity aligns with regulatory requirements and business procedures.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:
Professional with significant experience as an insurance lawyer, specialising in financial and professional lines insurance.
Adaptive thinking and a strong, critical approach.
Strong intuition for business and presentation skills.
Highly proficient at project planning, budgeting, and oversight.
Forward-thinking and adaptable to dynamic situations.
A proven understanding of innovation and how it should be applied in business.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
