We are embarking on a greenfield data project and seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to build and deliver a proof of concept for a cutting-edge data solution, leveraging Azure and GraphRAG technologies.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greenfield Project Development:
Design, build, and implement a proof of concept for a data warehouse solution from the ground up.
Azure Expertise:
Utilize Azure technologies to architect and manage scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms.
GraphRAG Integration:
Employ GraphRAG to optimize data processing, retrieval, and insights delivery.
Hands-On Delivery:
Lead the end-to-end implementation, from planning and design to execution and optimization.
Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders across technical and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Documentation and Handover:
Provide detailed documentation and assist in transitioning the proof of concept to a scalable production system.
Essential Criteria:
Technical Expertise:
Proven track record in building data warehouse solutions, preferably in greenfield settings.
Azure Proficiency:
Deep experience with Azure data services, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
GraphRAG Experience:
Hands-on experience with GraphRAG for data integration and management.
Private Equity Experience:
Previous experience working for a Private Equity-backed business, understanding the unique dynamics and fast-paced environment.
Hands-On Approach:
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to independently drive project delivery.
