2025-01-22About the RoleWhat You Will Do We are looking for a Teacher to plan and deliver lessons to support progress to outlined outcomes inline with learners EHCP's.
Lead lessons to learners in line with the objectives of the curriculum and their EHCP outcomes.
Creating resources to engage and develop learners skills and upload evidence to Navigate.
Supporting principles and practical skills to help our learners along their journey into Adulthood.
Planning, assessing and reviewing the progress the learners make and feeding back in a way which helps them develop their abilities and understanding.
You will also work as part of a team to create a nurturing, positive environment for the learners.
About You You will have English and Mathematics at Level 2 or above and a willingness to improve in one or both disciplines to level 3 or above.
Appropriate level 5 teaching qualification e.g.
Level 5 Award in Education and Training, QTLS or PGCE It would be desirable for you to have skills and knowledge on caring for young people and adults with Complex needs and PMLD.
You will apply restorative practice to your communications with learners and colleagues and be a proactive, flexible and supportive member of the team.
You will also have experience of processes ensuring that the care and support is delivered within the guidelines of the college wide quality assurance policies and contribute enthusiastically to the overall success of the department.
