Our client is a medium sized, construction focused, main contractor that specialise in fire protection and prevention works. They typically operate within the residential social housing sector undertaking construction works for local authorities and housing associations.
Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a site manager has arisen to join our clients project team based in Lambeth. The project is long-term and the scope of works are fire compartmentation and loft safe guarding insulations.
The role
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the project through to completion in a safe manner ensuring the highest of quality finish.
Additional responsibilities include;
Ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales.
Progress reporting to the client and senior management
Liaising with site team including QS and RLO.
Full management of sub-contractors, inspecting properties pre and post works,
Chairing progress meetings and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the programme.
You will ensure all works comply with CDM regulations with regards to FRA works
Managing all aspects of health and safety
This role will suit a site manager with fire protection/prevention experience. This is an immediate requirement so you will be available either immediately or no more than a weeks notice.
