We are looking for an HR Manager for our production plant in Glasgow area.
You will be responsible for full HR core tasks in our plant and drive HR process excellence working closely together with local production teams and managers and global HR colleagues.ResponsibilitiesBusiness-Aligned HR Strategy:
Develop and execute HR practices that align with business objectives, adapting as needed to support company priorities.Manager Support:
Advise and equip managers to enhance team performance, addressing HR-related challenges and fostering employee engagement.Employee Lifecycle Management:
Oversee onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, training, and offboarding to ensure a positive employee experience.Compliance Oversight:
Ensure adherence to labor laws, occupational safety regulations, GDPR, and other relevant legal standards.Compensation and Benefits Guidance:
Support managers and employees with insights on compensation practices and merit cycles to ensure fair and competitive offerings.HR Operations and Process Improvement:
Manage local HR activities, including overlooking the payroll process, and drive continuous improvement in HR processes.Policy and Project Implementation:
Implement HR policies, programs, and projects that support business and HR priorities.Vendor Management:
Oversee and evaluate the performance of external HR service providers to ensure quality and alignment with company needs.QualificationsBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/ManagementAt least 5 years of related experience, preferably within a manufacturing organizationExperience in working with labor unionsDealing with multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneouslyAbility to build trust at all levels in the organizationDigital savvy to work with HR systems for core HR data, payroll, recruitment, etc.We offerCompetitive salary based on industry standards and your experienceBenefits package that support employee health and wellnessWork environment where you have trust to make changes and implement the most suitable HR strategies for the plantOpportunity to work in a tight knit team locally and globally
