In a Nutshell…

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team within Vistry Works Leicester, at our factory in Narborough. As our Finance Manager, you will report to the Head of Finance and will support the local management team in the operation of the factory and production lines. The Finance Manager will offer strategic insights and off challenge to results and performance, as well as undertaking finance specific requirements such as month end reporting and the preparation of management accounts.

We are pleased to say, this role could accommodate agile working arrangements in accordance with Vistry's Agile Working Policy and subject to business need.

ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified
Proven track record in producing concise management information
Experience of working in the manufacturing sector
Proven post qualifications experience
Completion of month end and year end procedures
Very strong knowledge of Excel
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
Building relationships with commercial teams
Ability to follow up queries and obtain explanations of variances to budget
Having strong inter-personal skills to enable effective communication at all levels
Possess commercial acumen
Be flexible in their approach
Be proactive in dealing with issues

Experience of Dynamics 365
accounting system
Knowledge of AnaplanMore about the Finance Manager role…

Preparation of management accounts and supporting commentary on a monthly basis, including a landing view forecast
Undertaking of an accurate and timely month end process
Ensuring integrity of data on Dynamics 365 and Anaplan.
Monitoring daily bank movements including actual and 3 month forecast reporting.
Ensuring invoices are raised in line with the sales forecast
Prepare Working Day 1 flash reports to Group Finance
Challenging management and identifying areas for investigation.
Improving systems and procedures.
Preparation of schedules for statutory audit.
Work closely with the Finance team to ensure integrity of the accounting system.
Work closely with the Head of Manufacturing in preparing ad-hoc management reports as required.
Liaise with and help lead reporting initiatives with the Head of Finance.Finally, let's tell you a bit more about us…
