Programme Management Officer

This role is involved in the effective planning, co-ordination and support of complex strategies, activities and projects and will involve clerical or administrative support, developing and implementing policy and processes, support for the programme management office, MoorConnect Programme boards, Readiness Boards, support with XDU governance reporting and collaboration sessions.
They will work alongside departmental teams working to support user need ensuring successful and beneficial changes to their working practices.

GENERAL DUTIES

To comply at all times with the requirements of the Health & Safety regulations under the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) and to take responsibility for the health and safety and welfare of others in the working environment ensuring that agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment.
To comply at all times with the Trusts Information Governance Policy.
The policy sets out the accountability and reporting arrangements for Information Governance in the trust and how assurance is provided that the Trust continues to meet at least the minimum standards of information governance compliance required by the NHS Information Governance Toolkit.
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) (formerly CRB) checks are now a mandatory part of the NHS Six Recruitment Check Standards for all staff whom, in the course of their normal duties, may have regular access to patients and children and/or vulnerable adults.

Requirements
Education / Qualifications

Educated to graduate level or equivalent experience and qualification
Excellent PC literacy including knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
Ability to learn new packages/databases as requiredExperience

Demonstration of interest in digital health
Experience in a busy office dealing with all aspects of admin work
Experience of complex diary management
Experience of organising large events/conferences
Experience of project management
Understanding of the NHS
Understanding of the challenges of implementing healthcare technology
