A Head of Procurement : needed to head up the Procurement & TPRM functions within a financial services company. The successful candidate will steer procurement strategy, develop and implement TPRM, and manage supplier relationships to ensure procurement best practice, regulatory compliance, and supply chain optimisation.

Description
Develop and implement the procurement and category strategy.
Manage supplier relationships and contracts effectively.
Monitor procurement processes and systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Lead and mentor the Procurement & Supply Chain team.
Collaborate with various departments to align procurement strategy with company goals.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Oversee risk management within the procurement process.
Stay updated on industry trends and apply best procurement practices.Profile
Head of Procurement
A degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
MCIPS - ideally
10+yrs experience in a managerial procurement role within the financial services industry.
15yrs in procurement with TPRM and supplychain governance experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
High level stakeholder management (internally and externally)
Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
Sound understanding of procurement regulations and best practices.Job Offer
Salary: ranging between £120,000 and £139,000 per annum base + package
