• Key Responsibilities:
• - Oversee the daily operations of the CNC machining department, ensuring production targets are met while upholding quality and safety standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of CNC machinists, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance their performance.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule jobs, manage workflow, and optimise machine utilisation.
• Ensure regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Identify and implement best practices to improve machining processes, efficiency, and product quality.
• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety training.
• Maintain accurate production records and provide regular updates to management regarding performance metrics and issues.
• Skills and Qualifications:
• - 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proficiency in CNC programming (e.g., G-code, M-code) and familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
• Metallic or Composite background
• Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong focus on quality and precision in machining processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management.
