We are looking for an experienced Solutions Consultant (Legal Engineer) to join our dynamic CoLab Team, based in our Birmingham office.
The CoLab Team delivers innovative solutions for our people and clients; and enhances how we run our own business, enabling the firm to adapt, embrace change and generate fresh thinking.
Within this role you will be responsible for:

Driving the firm's innovation and growth through cutting-edge technology solutions, spearheading the adoption and mastery of tools that elevate our strategic goals.
Managing an area of our solutions portfolio ("Employee Experience," "Client Experience," "Process Excellence," and "Data Driven Firm.")
Taking ideas from inception to launch to improve the way we work for and with our clients, including being personally responsible for building and developing low code / no code solutions.
Establishing yourself as the go-to expert and passionate advocate of your assigned solutions, ensuring you consistently work to deliver transformative value.
Engaging with a diverse audience, from lawyers to clients and vendors highlighting and promoting the significant advantages and innovative methods of incorporating technology into legal work.
About you:

We are looking for someone whodemonstrates a passion and an in-depth knowledge and wealth of experience in legal technology, innovation, or digital transformation - preferably in a law firm, legal technology provider or technology consulting practice.
Your work experience should demonstrate a proven track record of leading and managing successful technology projects and initiatives, from conception through to implementation and assessment.
You will have a passionate vision for the role and influence of technology within the legal sector, along with the capability to effectively promote and advocate to diverse audiences, both internally and externally.
To this role you will bring:

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse and talented team of legal technology professionals.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, evaluate and implement innovative and effective technology solutions for the firm and its clients.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex and technical information in a clear and engaging manner.
Expertise in using low code / no code platforms to build new solutions from start to finish.This will include experience of personally scoping, building, and deploying new solutions.
A highly collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across different functions, levels, and locations.
Qualifications/technical skills required:

A bachelor's degree or higher in law, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
A deep and specialised knowledge of a specific area of the legal technology landscape, such as document automation, contract lifecycle management or artificial intelligence, as well as the best practices and standards in the industry.
A high level of proficiency and experience in using and leveraging the Microsoft PowerPlatform, with expertise in PowerApps and Power Automate required ,
You will also demonstrate proficiency and experience in other relevant technologies, such as document automation, contract lifecycle management, artificial intelligence, e-discovery, knowledge management and data analytics.
