We are seeking Multi Skilled Operatives, with a primary trade in either Carpentry, Plumbing or as an Electrician, to join our busy housing maintenance and voids team.Our skilled team of Multi Skilled Operatives carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks within a domestic and commercial property setting.This role requires a flexible approach and the ability to work in multiple trades, including but not limited to:
PlumbingCarpentryElectrical workPainting and decoratingGeneral building maintenanceKey Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and upgrades.Work independently and as part of a team to deliver efficient and effective service.Adhere to safety regulations and best practices.Maintain accurate records of work completed.Assist in the training of apprentices.Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out service (optional).Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and effective communication with tenants and clients.Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in multiple trades within the construction industry.Strong practical skills and the ability to problem-solve.Valid UK driving license.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Commitment to delivering high-quality work.Willingness to undertake further training as required.Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).Experience in working within a public sector environment.If you are a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.A full driving licence is required for this role.What we can offer:
