Our client in the education sector is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager with superb leadership skills to join their large team on a permanent, full time basis.
As Payroll Manager, you will report into the Senior Payroll Manager and will support them in supervising the payroll team.
Line management duties of a team of 3.
Responsibilities include:
Day to day management of the team and processing of high volume, in house payroll experienceBenefits and P11D'sManagement of the monthly pay cycleTraining and development of the Payroll TeamUser acceptance testing for standard system releasesHMRC/payroll correctionsAssisting with process implementation such as cost of living changes, increment procedure, discretionary pay reviews etc.Annual HMRC reconciliationsGlobal mobility and interaction with the University International Tax Manager Experience required:
Experience within a similar payroll manager/supervisory level roleExperience of managing, motivating and developing staffExemplary UK payroll knowledge & confident running a fully in-house payrollSound knowledge of occupational sickness, maternity and paternity schemes and their application.Resourcelink experience is desirable This role offers hybrid working, flexi-hours and generous annual leave.Interviewing and hiring ASAP.
