Food Preparation prepare and cook dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef; ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all timesStation Management oversee the production of all food items assigned to your station and upkeep your designated area with supplies and ensure cleanliness in line with policies and proceduresQuality Control maintain high quality standards for all food handled, ensuring presentation and taste is considered at all timesTeam Collaboration communicate effectively with all other team members and assist/support all colleagues where necessaryCleaning and Maintenance maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working orderQualifications Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or display a real passion for foodKnowledge of some cooking techniques and cuisinesBasic understanding of food safety and sanitation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesWorks according to the BaxterStorey core valuesAdditional Information For almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether thats an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.We need the brightest and the best to join us to make this all possible.
