It also requires a key strategic focus on hiring professionals who will push the creative boundaries and explore the possibilities within every area of our organisation.About the RoleBased in our atelier and reporting to the Senior Modelist (Chef d'Atelier), you will assist pattern makers by supporting them with all auxiliary tasks.
Your responsibilities will include the following for women's ready-to-wear products:
Drafting detailed and comprehensive comments in English, with visual support, for each prototyping stage to ensure clear communication with factories and the Sydney team.Attending fittings and recording all comments and photos for the pattern maker.Creating and updating technical sketches.Managing styles within the PLM Centric tool.Preparing the measurement charts for each model.Verifying technical packs before sending them for production.Receiving prototypes, SMS, and PPS, and preparing them for fittings, flagging any inconsistencies.Establishing fabric consumption data and entering it into PLM Centric.QualificationsYou have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Product Technician in women's ready-to-wear collections.
You are proficient in computer tools, especially Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Knowledge of PLM and Lectra is a plus, but training can be provided.
You have a solid understanding of flat pattern construction and assembly techniques.
Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
You have strong logical skills, can manage your tasks effectively, and possess great attention to detail.
