What will you do?

Part of the Investment Team and reporting to the Managing Director / Portfolio Manager as well as the Heads of Investments, the Associate / Junior VP will gain experience in a broad range of alternative assets investment strategies including private equity (underwriting an industry sector and a company's strategy), private credit (underwriting a company's credit), and real estate (underwriting real estate assets and markets).

The Associate will gain extensive exposure and experience originating, underwriting, and structuring sale-leaseback investments while working closely with the senior executives of the firm. This role provides an opportunity to take part in dynamic corporate finance transactions in a broad range of industry sectors, including healthcare, industrial, retail, and education among others. LeadCrest has access to proprietary market knowledge, unique sourcing capabilities and the local expertise required to support this person's growth and development in the sale-leaseback sector and wider alternative assets investment space.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
Together with senior investment professionals, lead deal origination efforts
Responsible for the financial analysis and underwriting process for new investments
Perform due diligence and research on potential investments across different real estate asset classes
Work directly with senior executives on new projects and initiatives
Prepare investment committee memorandums and participate in investment committee meetings
Monitor and manage existing investments
Conduct various local, national and international market analysis
Carry out extensive financial, real-estate and deal related research
Deliver concise support and valuation analysis
Perform other duties as assigned

Who are we looking for?

Bachelor's Degree with a strong GPA (top-tier university alumni preferred)
Graduate Degree is a plus
3+ years of experience at a leading investment bank or private equity firm
Strong corporate finance background, NO real estate experience is required
Transaction execution experience
Strong financial modeling skills and fluency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Outstanding quantitative skills with superior attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Strong work ethic with a desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Perform well in high-pressure situations or under time constraints
Full written and spoken proficiency in English
