Job Overview

In a booming logistics sector and very competitive eco-system, your primary missions will be :

• To develop, deploy and maintain our new Shipping solution for non-contracted users to build a state-of-the-art seamless and competitive digital journey for ad-hoc parcel senders, focusing on private individuals
• Working on a new products offer to comply with small & medium business shipping needs

As an IT ProductManager you will be part of the Parcel Lifecycle domain and report to the domain manager.

You are responsible for managing and deploying the C2X application over our subsidiaries, supporting our business sponsor:
Group Marketing.

You will oversee the delivery activity for C2X shipping applications, supervising the IT delivery team of the product but also managing dependencies with other applications to ensure a seamless and customer-centric experience.

Your primary objective will be to drive the functional and technical product roadmap while implementing the solution according to the rollout priorities set for our subsidiaries candidate to the C2X onboarding.

For that you'll have to work in close connection with the Marketing team to establish roadmap and priorities, taking into account multiple dependencies. You are directly in charge of the consistency & quality of the features and enhancements delivered within the product (what, when, how, why).

You will have to coordinate the different IT actors (development teams, support teams, etc. ) and actively contribute to product vision.

To complete successfully your mission, you will be in charge of:

Gathering and developing a deep understanding of Geopost's logistics and E-Commerce environment

Building the roadmap and rollout strategy of the product, in collaboration with Group Marketing and Group IT stakeholders

Align the strategy around the product with cross-functional strategic IT initiatives, continuous improvement, innovations

Structuring your product governance (resources, methodology, instances, etc. )

Actively contribute to the IT department governance deliverables (build and run reporting/instances)

Being a key business partner, a driving force for the product

Maintaining excellent relations with all partners (Marketing, Operations, Subsidiaries, External or Internal Actors).

Driving the product while respecting the architecture standards, keeping in mind our complex IT ecosystem and related technical and functional interdependencies to optimize our time to market

Collaborating with other IT product managers to ensure the delivery of interdependencies in the agreed time to market.

Driving activities (both technical and functional), planning, roles & responsibilities, testing, coordination, communication, resources activity monitoring, reporting.

Contributing to Solution design, user story, test strategy, execution & validation

Supporting IT Roll-Out Manager deploying solution in the subsidiaries

Ensuring Solution compliance to Cyber Security / GDPR Group Standards for Solutions

Securing that your applications is satisfying the criteria's defined in the SLA's to support Business operations (scalability and resilience)

Co-Building and updating functional and technical roadmap with business partners and product team, communicating and sharing roadmap across the organization

Structure and homogenize product knowledge deliverables (technical and functional documentation, on project/maintenance and support activities)

Structure the reporting of your products:

• In terms of activity/progress tracking, product usage, both on a technical and functional level
• Introduce and maintain key performance indicators (impact, time, budget, risk, quality)

Change management:

• Drive and support your product team to the Geopost Agile framework usage
• Lead the transition to a seamless and automated product delivery process (DevOps move, tests automation, etc. )

Main technical environment is Java / Web / Open Source. Solutions architecture can be also supported by External outsourced Solutions from the market. As such the main technical framework for internal development is, but not limited to

Profile & Skills Required

You have proven track record as an IT product manager in an international and multicultural environment.

You have a global understanding of logistics activities, related processes and IT ecosystems. You understand how they work together. You are also capable of getting the big picture and global understanding of the product you are responsible for, as well as operationally deep dive in it, supporting, implementing and coordinating activities.

You have a good mastering of IT project management practices, IT product lifecycle and Agile implementation method.
