Senior R&D Business Developer / Market Development R&D Transport SectorWe are looking for a person to join the Technology Transfer Department, to drive the commercial and technology transfer action of the centre in the Transport sector, being the central support to the technology areas of Cooperative and Autonomous Connected Systems and Intelligent Systems for Mobility and Logistics of the centre.
The scope of action addresses the Transport sector in the broadest sense, including among others different subsectors or areas of action such as ITS, Mobility, Logistics and Automotive.The main responsibilities of the post include:
Prospecting companies at local (Gipuzkoa), regional (Euskadi) or national level, to identify companies with the greatest potential for development or transfer of related digital technologies in the aforementioned or other related fields.Identification and generation of business opportunities (both for applied R&D projects and technology transfer and licensing) through dialogue with companies and institutions based on their needs and the technological capabilities of the centre and its mission.Collaborate with the team in advising current or potential clients on the approach, conceptualisation, presentation and development of R&D&I projects for the development or transfer of technology in the aforementioned areas.Prospecting and selection of the best private and public financing mechanisms in accordance with the needs of the companies.To manage the centre's clients, through long-term loyalty work.To achieve a consultative sale, with high added value, in relation to the centre's standards of efficiency and innovation.External representation of the centre in national and international business and transfer forums.Supervise the detection of customer needs, their evolution and satisfaction.Candidates must have:
Education:
Higher studies in Engineering (Automation and Electronics, Industrial, IT or Telecommunications).
Related technical studies at Master's or Doctorate level being an added value.Experience:
Minimum experience of between 3-5 years in market development positions in the provision of services in the field of digital technologies in the Transport and Logistics sector (experience in the sector and/or experience in areas of innovation and especially R&D&I being highly valued).
Proven experience in technical-consulting sales to companies, with particular value given to experience in the Transport and Logistics sector.
Ability to adapt to the needs of the client.
Proven experience in the management of the complete bid cycle.
Proven experience of working with multidisciplinary teams.Languages:
Advanced level of English and Basque language is an asset.High degree of autonomy, dynamism, proactivity, flexibility, empathy and self-confidence.Availability to travel locally (Euskadi) and nationally.Profile with strategic and analytical vision.We value candidates:
