About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Engineering Director position to join our Engineering Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, effectively to support project priorities and meet organizational goals.
• Provide technical direction and guidance, ensuring the use of best practices, methodologies, and technologies to drive innovation and achieve technical excellence.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with engineering projects, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate the performance of engineering teams and individual team members, provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to support professional growth and ensure high performance.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, customers, partners, and regulatory agencies, to understand their needs, gather feedback, and communicate engineering initiatives and achievements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department, including process optimization, efficiency improvements, and adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance productivity and innovation.

About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualifications - Certificate in project management - A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC Engineering or any other relevant field Experience - Minimum 5years experience in civil works and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing - 3 years experience in a similar position Skills - Motivated and Organized - Very good level of English and Spanish - Able to multitask
