We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Proposal Engineer to join our renewable energy team.
This role involves developing competitive and technically sound proposals for renewable energy projects, including solar, and energy storage solutions.
The Proposal Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project requirements, create cost-effective solutions, and deliver comprehensive proposals that align with client needs.Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations) to determine project requirements and technical specifications.Develop detailed proposals, including project scope, cost estimates, timelines, and technical solutions.Collaborate with engineering, sales, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary information and ensure proposal accuracy.Create and maintain templates, tools, and databases to streamline the proposal development process.Evaluate project feasibility, considering technical, financial, and logistical factors.Ensure all proposals meet internal and external compliance standards, as well as industry regulations.Communicate technical details and project solutions clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.Support the sales team during client presentations and negotiations by providing technical expertise.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings to develop competitive proposals.Continuously improve proposal processes and contribute to the development of best practices.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.2+ years of experience in proposal engineering, project engineering, or a similar role in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.Strong understanding of renewable energy systems, including solar, and energy storage technologies.Proficiency in proposal software, project management tools, and engineering design platforms such as AutoCAD.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.Knowledge of relevant industry standards, permitting processes, and environmental regulations.Preferred Skills:
Experience with financial modeling and cost analysis for renewable energy projects.Familiarity with CRM platforms and proposal tracking tools.Knowledge of grid interconnection processes and power purchase agreements (PPAs).-Working hours:
Monday to Friday:
40 hours weekly.-Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years experience as a Proposal Engineer in Photovoltaic Plant projects or similar.Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering or related.-Benefits:
