Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Engineer Frontend to join our Forseti Team of Human Connection Tribe.

The responsibility of this team is to keep the assisted channels and everything that offices and agents need to be in touch with the client, and our way of working is agile, coordinated, and human in touch!

Your key responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer Frontend, you will:

• Design, develop and test the code that will shape the different components of the application, ensuring that they meet the requirements of functionality, quality, and performance.
• Deliver in Production a working software by giving the best use to technology and development practices, including the documentation and parameters that can help reach that goal.
• Support Production by analyzing and fixing any bugs that occur.
• Contribute to improve the technical discipline by collaborating with the cross-technical chapter.
• As an expert in the Frontend area, you specifically add value on that technical layer but always keep in mind the rest of the technical stack as part of the Squad responsibilities.

As a Software Engineer Frontend for one of our retail tribes, you should have the following knowledge and experience:

Essential:

• A hardcore JavaScript developer with experience in developing Frontend applications with JavaScript (ES5/ES6), HTML, and CSS (Experience with the latest version as well).
• A deep knowledge in Frontend frameworks and experience in developing Web components using one or more frameworks of Angular 8+, ReactJS, Polymer, or Lit-HTML/Lit-Element.
• Knowledge of JSON, REST, web-services.
• Experience in web testing stack - Karma, Chai, Sinon, Jasmine.
• Experience with continuous Integration tools like: GIT, Jenkins, Yarn, NPM, and Bower and can configure these tools.
• Experience in Rollup, Web-pack, and Node-based CLI's.
• Knowledge in Frontend design patterns and architecture.
• Experience with Micro-frontend strategies.
• Back End & DevOps awareness (understand the global architecture/infrastructure).
• Testing: Unit Testing (Techniques: White-box/ Black-box, What is a unit?); Type of testing (unit testing, integration, and smoke); Junit; Contract Testing; Framework mocks (Mockito, Mockmvc, Wiremock, Powermock).
• Git.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• 1-3 years of experience on a similar technical stack.
• Knowledge in Agile team experience with SCRUM or Kanban or XP.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a must.
• Strong communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience of Java including the Spring framework.
• Knowledge with test-driven development & test automation.
• TDD
• DDD
• Maven
• Docker, Openshift, or Kubernetes.
• Ansible
