Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and product managers to grow the Design System.Be deeply involved at every stage of the design and development process-from discovery through detailed design, execution, and iteration.Maintain, improve, and evolve the components and tokens of the system based on the needs of the business, product teams, and the health of the Design System itself.Iterate on the content and usability of the Design Systems documentation site and Figma UI library to foster a shared language between the designer and developer users.Collaborate with the brand team to ensure the visual design of the system aligns with the brand guidelines.Support and educate design and developer users on how to properly use the Design System.Actively participate in design critiques, office hours, and other team rituals.Your Qualifications:
3+ years of experience building, contributing to, and shipping digital products and design systems, preferably in the B2C e-commerce space.Systems level thinking:
You understand how design decisions cascade and impact development by thinking beyond the surface-level impacts of a solution.Pattern recognition:
You can find opportunities for consolidation and alignment in aspects of the system such as components, props, patterns, and processes.Scalable attitude:
You design solutions that work in a large variety of situations and meet a wide range of needs.Code fluent:
You are familiar with front-end technology such as HTML, CSS, React, enabling you to collaborate with developer peers and navigate implementation constraints.Visual Design:
You are highly skilled with type, hierarchy, color, composition, contrast, and other graphic design fundamentals.User Interface Design:
You can design accessible, intuitive components with thoughtfully crafted variants and API.User Experience Design:
You do the right amount of research to collect the insights needed to inspire design decisions.
You advocate for solutions that benefit our users while also meeting the business needs.Growth mindset:
