Job Overview:
The Finance Coordinator will support the day-to-day financial operations and contribute to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. This role involves handling tasks such as invoicing, budget tracking, financial reporting, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The Finance Coordinator will work closely with the Finance Manager and other departments to ensure that financial activities are in line with company objectives and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations Support:
Assist with daily financial operations, including invoicing, payments to vendors, and employee reimbursements.
Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and bank statements to ensure consistency with financial records.

Budget and Forecast Assistance:
Support in tracking budget performance and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
Help ensure that budget allocations are efficiently utilized in accordance with company objectives.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial data for reports and assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements.
Help compile monthly and quarterly reports to provide insights on financial performance.

Cash Flow Monitoring:
Assist in tracking cash flow to ensure that there is adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Alert on any liquidity issues or discrepancies in cash flow projections.

Financial Analysis:
Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and financial risks.
Support the Team in identifying and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

Internal and External Coordination:
Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial processes align with company goals and objectives.
Assist in liaising with external parties, such as auditors, banks, and suppliers, to ensure smooth financial operations.

Ad-hoc Support:
Provide assistance with financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as required by the Finance Manager or senior leadership team.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Familiarity with financial software (e.g., MS Dynamics, Excel, or similar systems).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and suggest improvements.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues across various departments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under the direction of the Finance Manager.
Proficiency in English is must; knowledge of German or Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with budget tracking, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
Previous exposure to financial reporting and analysis.
Familiarity with ERP systems and other finance-related software tools.
