About The Role

Supporting the Engineering & Construction business of Corporate Solutions Spain, which also includes underwriting of Renewable Energy risks under construction and operation, you will be part of a dynamic team of experienced underwriters, focused on profit-oriented underwriting and on building relationships with key partners in the large corporate and middle-market risk segments.

Underwrite Engineering and Construction risks, including Renewable Energy under construction and operation.
Extend our footprint as a recognized insurance partner for large and midsize construction projects of the renewable, manufacturing, infrastructure, building and heavy civil works sectors.
Work closely with the global engineering and construction team.
Assess risks, coverage, terms and conditions.
Act as a point of reference for the Engineering and Construction community on technical issues and keep track of new technologies and market trends.
Support the growth of associated lines of business by actively cross-selling their capabilities.

About You

Are you at ease with leaving the comfort zone and performing under pressure? Do you consider yourself to be a "self-starter", able and willing to take initiative and implement measures in a goal-oriented manner with:

In-depth knowledge of insurance, Engineering and Construction underwriting, and more specifically Renewable Energy risks.
Minimum 3 to 5 years underwriting experience with strong broker and client network.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of integrity and credibility.
Business sense, service and collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership and a focus on execution.
For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 72,000 and EUR 120,000 for a full-time role.
The specific salary offered considers:

the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
