This team will work closely with the OPIS HQ based in Gaithersburg, MD US and other team members working remotely in the US and Europe.

To fit this role, we are looking for that unique mix of solid technical capabilities, blended with strong interpersonal skills.Your ResponsibilitiesAs an experienced and solution-oriented Senior Software Engineer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
working with our product teams to provide timely, effective and performant solutions; contributing to the design of scalable data solutions, including the development of automated pipelines; implementing and/or maintaining database systems to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our application suite; understand and define business data requirements and identify data needs and data sources to create scalable data architecture and support enhancements, new product and implementation.Responsibilities+ Write, build and deploy code+ Analyze business application requirements, identify concerns and develop action plans+ Be part of an Agile team, using company's latest software development life-cycle, working closely with team members from Romania and US+ Leverage our Cloud infrastructure (AWS) in order to design solutions that make the best of it+ Maintains existing legacy applications+ Track down and resolve bugs in any OPIS code base+ Adhere to best practice development standards (such as continuous integration and deployment)Your Expertise+ Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related technical field+ 2+ years hands-on software development experience+ Strong knowledge of OOP principles+ Strong knowledge of C# and Microsoft .NET framework+ Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript+ Experience with designing web services+ Good understanding of a relational database engine - SQL Server (or PostgreSQL)+ Experience with modern software development life-cycleDoes this sound like you?+ A strong analytical thinker with a love for planning and organization who can manage competing demands with minimal supervision+ A self-starter with a never-ending curiosity to learn and solve problems+ A critical thinker, with mad problem-solving skills+ A team player with great interpersonal and communication skills+ A structured developer, with good time-management skillsIf these things strike a chord with you, we should talk.We'd also love to hear about your experiences with any of the following:
