Beyond the professionalism of each individual, at UIC Barcelona you will also become part of a young and dynamic work atmosphere.What we're looking forWe are looking for a senior researcher for our Area of Psychology to carry out research and teaching activities (Educational Psychology) in the Faculty of Education Sciences.Key responsibilitiesTo publish articles in high-impact journals.To work as part of a team preparing and presenting scientific projects.To obtain competitive projects.To provide quality education to both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the fields of Psychology of Education.To administer and/or coordinate programmes as well as any other type of academic task assigned by the Faculty.How to applyApplications should be submitted as a single document:

The UIC Barcelona selection process involves:
An independent board of experts that assesses all applications and decides who will move onto the next stage.
All members of this board are from outside UIC Barcelona.A public oral defence by finalist applicants:
a presentation about their career (both academic and teaching) and their research projects.
Following the presentation, the examination panel will ask a series of questions to conclude the defence.

The ability to carry out independent research.
Particular attention will be paid to candidates with experience as a principal researcher, as well as those who have made valuable contributions in terms of scientific productivity as part of a research group led by another researcher.
Research stays at prestigious international centres for Social Sciences will also be highly valued.Experience teaching at university level.Experience in academic management (such as programme coordination and management, experience writing reports and academic reports as well as research projects).Experience teaching in English and Catalan.CompetencesUnderstand and share the University's mission, vision and values.Initiative and communication skills.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.The ability to supervise and guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects.Flexibility and adaptability.Management and leadership skills.Oral and written fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan.
