Our existing Solution Lead has been given new tasks, and therefore we need a new colleague to ensure that our AI solutions continue to live up to expectations.

You will play an important role in planning, designing, implementing, and operating these solutions with your team.

Our team consists of 7 skilled people in roles such as Data Scientist, ML Engineer, and System Developer.
We work with traffic control and information solutions, including train delay forecasting.

We aim to change the way customers receive real-time updates on train delays.

Our goal is clear:
We want to be able to predict and inform about any delays across all main lines efficiently and accurately.

You will join the AI department which is a part of the IT organization.
We focus on building and maintaining advanced AI solutions.

By now, our department comprises three AI/ML development teams, all working according to the Scrum methodology - and all with the same end goal:
To deliver innovative solutions that address pressing issues at DSB using AI.

What is the job about?

As the AI Solution Lead, you will act as product owner and oversee the technical aspects of our AI project deliverables.

This position does not involve people management; instead, you will function as the daily lead, collaborating closely with Lea, the Head of AI, to oversee team performance and project deliveries.

Your primary tasks will be to

• Ensure that business use cases are translated into technical solutions.
  
• Participate in the planning, design, and architecture of the solutions.
  
• Direct and guide your team, while creating a safe and motivating working environment.
  
• Interact with stakeholders to manage project expectations and contribute to our strategic business development.
  

A typical working day

Your day starts with planning and prioritizing tasks as the product owner.

You will meet with the team to ensure that they have the necessary resources and directions to be able to deliver high quality.

During the day, you will monitor team members' performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure ongoing improvement.

After a good lunch with your colleagues, you meet with project managers and stakeholders to review the product pipeline and priorities, where you present the status and receive input for adjustments.

Who are you?

We are looking for a skilled communicator who can build good relationships with team members, stakeholders, and customers.

You're good at empowering team members to be responsible for their work and make decisions on their own, and you have an encouraging attitude that you share with your colleagues.

Professionally, you can recognize yourself in these statements

• A solid background as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer or similar.
  
• Experience working in a product owner role with a good understanding of agile methods and how they are implemented in a team.
  
• Able to maintain an overview, manage time, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  
• Proficient communication skills in both Danish and English.
