We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Architect to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the frontend architecture of our web application, ensuring top-notch performance, scalability, and an exceptional user experience. A key responsibility will be migrating and upgrading our existing tech stack from AngularJS to more modern technologies to keep our applications competitive and up-to-date

Your key responsibilities:

• Define the overall frontend architecture in line with technical goals and business objectives
• Lead the migration and upgrade process from AngularJS to a modern tech stack - we look forward to your inputs!
• Select and integrate appropriate frontend technologies, frameworks, and tooling
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to the development team
• Collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers
• Implement security best practices to protect against common vulnerabilities
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the frontend architecture

Who are you?

• 5+ years experience as a Frontend Architect, Lead Engineer, or in a similar role
• Mastery of frontend technologies and frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Experience in migrating legacy systems to modern tech stacks - experience from AngularJS is definitely a plus
• Expert in system design, performance optimization, and best practices
• Always up-to-date with the latest frontend trends and advancements
• Disciplined, structured, and open-minded
• Have a natural desire to lead and guide your team and ensure a strong team spirit in your daily work
• Believe that performance is not a matter of fast deliveries but high-quality deliveries and a strong team spirit
• Thrive working under a high level of autonomy taking responsibility of own tasks
• Are located in or near Odense
• Have excellent communication skills in verbal and written Danish and English
• And most important, you are a team player who contributes to the team - both with your professional knowledge and your personal anecdotes and humor!
