Product & Content Manager, E-Commerce

The position as Product & Content Manager is a new position.

As a Product & Content Manager in the Online sales organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product & content strategy, vision, and execution on our E-commerce platforms.
You will have the responsibility of a team and will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to drive the planning and execution of our product portfolio and content strategy with a customer centric focus optimizing the user experience, increase customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth.

This role is new and you will have the opportunity to influence the role and ways of working.
But we have defined some key tasks and responsibilities:

- Product Portfolio:
Manage product launches/changes through input from global functions (product managements & marketing) aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Stay up to date with market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation.

- Product Roadmap Planning:
Manage annual product launch cycle.
Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with strategic objectives and ensures timely delivery of key milestones.
Prioritize backlog and product gaps in the portfolio and oversee planning and execution of these.

- Product Positioning & content :
Manage product positioning improvements - identify opportunities/issues, consult main stakeholders, scope, plan, approve final suggestion, share with stakeholders.
Support a comprehensive strategy aimed at maximizing the effectiveness of product content across various channels, including product pages, search results, and promotional materials.

- Content creation:
Generation and execution of overall content in our shops, supporting our goal to optimize the user experience, increase customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including global product management & marketing to translate product vision into actionable plans.
Collaborate effectively to ensure seamless execution and alignment across all stakeholders.

- Performance & Analysis:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives.
Monitor and analyze metrics to evaluate product & content performance (sales, SEO ranking, conversion, etc) identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
Oversee creation of reports that enables data driven decisions.

- Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate updates, milestones, and priorities to internal stakeholders and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.
Act as a primary point of contact for product & content-related inquiries and feedback.

Qualifications:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
  
• It's a plus if you have people management experience, with the ability & drive to effectively lead and mentor a small sized team.
  
• You have proven experience (+5 years) in product / content management roles within the e-commerce industry, with a track record of delivering successful results and driving business growth.
  
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices, with knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make informed decisions to drive product strategy.
  
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value to customers and driving measurable business impact.
  
• Structured mindset and project management skills
• Proficiency in relevant project management tools.
  
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
