Your role and responsibilities

• Process Development:
  Design and develop reliability processes and methodologies tailored to the organization's specific needs and industry standards.
  Establish clear guidelines and procedures for Design for reliability, including risk assessment, testing protocols, and reliability target strategies.
  
• Implementation and Integration:
  Lead the implementation of reliability processes across Agile Units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability considerations into product development practices.
  
• Training and Education:
  Develop and deliver training programs on reliability processes, tools, and best practices for employees at all levels.
  Conduct workshops, seminars, and online courses to educate staff on topics such as FMEA, RCM, reliability testing, and data analysis.
  
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  Establish quality assurance measures to monitor the effectiveness of reliability processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions as needed.
  
• Continuous Improvement:
  Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability processes and drive efficiency gains.
  Analyze performance metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and refinement.
  
• Knowledge Management:
  Develop and maintain a repository of reliability-related documentation, including procedures, guidelines, case studies, and lessons learned.
  Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration to facilitate organizational learning and development.
  

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
  
• 12+ years of relevant work experience in Design for Reliability roles in Product Development function, preferably in global environments.
  
• Strong understanding of reliability methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
  
• Experience in training and adult education is highly desirable; project management experience and certification is a plus; previous experience with the Agile way of working is an added value.
  
• Availability for business travel 2-3 times a year.
  
• Tools and Software required - Reliability analysis software (e.g., ReliaSoft, Weibull++), Statistical analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Minitab), Learning management systems (LMS) for online training delivery (highly desirable).
  
• Certifications required - Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE); Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) (highly desirable); Training and development certifications (highly desirable).
