About the Position:
The Special Operations Planner, GS-0301-12, serves as a Special Operations Planner in the Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) Operations Directorate. Assists regional and functional division leads in planning, coordinating, and synchronizing Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAI) for the Future Operations Division. This position is located in Stuttgart, Germany.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education requirements described below. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Researching policies and/or directives to effectively manage resources for planning needs and/or requirements; 2) Analyzing operations and/or activities to enhance planning efficiency for successful mission execution; AND 3) Identifying knowledge management tools and/or processes to consolidate relevant information and improve situational awareness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

To meet the Time in Grade (TIG) requirement, include a copy of your latest SF-50 showing your highest permanent grade with your application/resume. Acceptable SF-50s include those for Promotions, Within-grade/Range Increases, or any SF-50 over one year old. Failure to do so may affect your employment consideration.
