In unseren beiden Redaktionsstandorten in Hannover und Berlin arbeiten mehr als 100 Journalistinnen und Journalisten täglich daran, unsere Nutzerinnen und Nutzer über die Lage in Deutschland und der Welt aufzuklären und unsere regionalen Partnermarken bei deren Aufklärungsarbeit vor Ort zu unterstützen.
In unserem Data-Team fließen alle Daten unserer journalistischen Web-, App- und Printprodukte zusammen, um alle unsere Stakeholder - von lokalen Journalistinnen und Journalisten, über Kundenbetreuung und Marketing, bis zur Geschäftsführung - mit fundierten Informationen in Echtzeit über die Nutzung unserer Angebote, Inhalte und Thementrends zu versorgen.
Wir laden dich herzlich ein unser Data-Team zu verstärken und spannende, innovative Projekte voran zu treiben.
Dazu suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen (Senior) Data Engineer (d/m/w)am Standort Hannover.
Zur Weiterentwicklung und Verbesserung unserer Data-Plattform sucht unser Team einen erfahrenen Data-Engineer, der uns bei folgenden Aufgaben unterstützt:
We build it, we run it:
Du entwickelst und optimierst technische Lösungen innerhalb unserer Lake-House-Plattform in der GCP (Google Cloud Plattform).
Du unterstützt unsere Weiterentwicklung der Plattform-Architektur und bringst deine Erfahrung in Entscheidungen zu technischen Designs und Best Practices ein.
Du modellierst und entwickelst fachliche Anforderungen als relationale Datenmodelle mit dbt zur Unterstützung redaktioneller und geschäftlicher Entscheidungen.
Du integrierst neue Datenquellen, z.B.
aus APIs mit Python.
Du entwickelst mit uns die Data-Governance unserer Plattform weiter.
Du hast mehrjährige Erfahrung als Entwickler im Bereich Data Engineering, Business Intelligence oder Softwareentwicklung .
Du bist sicher im Umgang mit SQL und bringst idealerweise Erfahrung mit Data-Warehouse-Technologien , im Umgang mit großen Datenmengen und Web-Tracking mit.
Du hast fundierte Kenntnisse in Python , dem Umgang mit APIs oder datengetriebenen Anwendungen.
Du sprichst Deutsch mindestens auf C1-Niveau , da dies unsere Teamsprache ist.
Du magst die Mischung aus Präsenz und Homeoffice und kannst an zwei bis drei Tagen pro Woche im Office in Hannover sein.
