Job Summary and Requirements:

This posting is to fill one (1) position, Term until October 10, 2025, working 75 hours bi-weekly. Temporary Assignments may be equally considered.

The Infrastructure Development Branch (IDB) manages the planning, designing, and construction for numerous types of infrastructure projects for the territory. IDB supports infrastructure development initiatives for First Nations, municipalities, and unincorporated Yukon through project management and fund management.

About the Position:

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for preparing, coordinating, and monitoring the accounts payable and accounts receivable function for the Infrastructure Development Branch, while maintaining appropriate internal accounting controls.

Essential Qualifications:

Experience in the accounting field performing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and/or reconciliation functions
Experience using financial software programs
Experience in the application of policies, procedures, and guidelines
Coursework in Business Administration or a related discipline would be considered an asset

Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be equally considered.
