This opportunity is for a permanent position working 75 hours biweekly.

The Workers' Safety and Compensation Board (WSCB) administers workplace health and safety and workers' compensation in the territory. WSCB's mission is to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses in partnership with employers and workers and to support workers when injuries occur. We take care of injured workers by facilitating their stay at work, return to work and recovery.

The Role:

Reporting to the Chief Information Governance Officer, the Access and Privacy Analyst is a highly specialized resource for information access, security and privacy analysis, and information governance. The Access and Privacy Analyst helps WSCB to understand our current posture and recommends new and improved processes with respect to personal information use, collection and disclosure.

The position is responsible for complete, accurate and timely responses to ATIPP and other information requests, leads privacy impact assessments, proposes mitigations to identified risks, monitors compliance and provides support and training to staff.

Essential Qualifications:

Experience analyzing and interpreting legislation, policy and guidelines;
Experience planning, developing, and/or implementing policies, procedures, guidelines, and/or programs;
Experience working with confidential information;
Experience providing exceptional customer service;
Post-secondary diploma or coursework and training in records/information management, access to information, or privacy management would be considered an asset.

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Conditions of Employment:

Have and maintain RCMP Security Clearance.
