We are proud of the diverse team of professionals who collaborate to develop and implement policies, programs, and initiatives that promote student success and enhance educational outcomes across the territory.The Director of Operations is responsible for directing the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing evaluation of the program areas of facilities and property management relating to Yukon schools, environmental stewardship, student transportation, and health and safety for the Department of Education.We are looking for an innovative individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership skills, professionalism, and team-building skills to represent, facilitate, and manage the Operations unit.

Significant experience in financial management, project management, facilities, and asset managementSignificant experience leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team of professionalsExperience engaging with and achieving positive outcomes with diverse clients including internal and external stakeholders and professional service personnelPost-secondary coursework or training in occupational health and safety, project management would be considered an assetCandidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability:
