About The Team

Our BC/YT Hydrology team specializes in sustainable water resource management, using advanced science and engineering to protect and optimize water resources for resilient communities and ecosystems. They provide expert support to government, local authorities, and private and major infrastructure clients in groundwater supply, hydrotechnical engineering, water balance analysis, fluvial geomorphology, groundwater-surface interaction, and flood risk assessment and mitigation.

Who You Are

• A relevant undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering, hydrology, geoscience, or closely related discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience in a consulting environment focused on hydrology or water resources.
• Professional registration in the province/territory of work.
• Achieved senior technical proficiency in hydrology.
• Strong knowledge of relevant environmental laws and compliance practices.
• Proven commitment to Health & Safety standards.
• Adaptability to manage deadline pressure and ambiguity.
• Self-motivated leader with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• A proven track record of successful business development.
• Commitment to technical excellence and ability to write proposals.
• Financial, forecasting, and budgeting experience.
• Strategic and business planning experience.

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $122,500 to $187,200

WSP Canada is providing the compensation range based on the successful applicant's qualifications.
